Meet Zuni: The Bee Behind the Buzz

December 11, 2025 | 1 minute read

Helping You Create Your Own Buzz

In senior care, every person plays an essential role. Every shift matters. Every message helps the team come together. That’s the heart of Niuz — and now, that’s the heart of our new mascot too.

Meet Zuni, the newest member of the Niuz hive. Yes, Zoo-nee – a super clever (not really) rearrangement of our name.

Why? Zuni is a bumble bee. They’re friendly, welcoming, and here to help us share a simple message: strong teams are built on connection. And we believe that connection comes from the buzz inside an organization.

Why a Bee?

Bees work together. They communicate constantly. They support each other. And the hive thrives because each member contributes to the whole.

That’s exactly what senior care teams do every day.
And it’s exactly what Niuz is here to support.

What Zuni Represents

Zuni brings our mission to life in a new way. They stand for:

  • Communication that keeps everyone connected
  • Recognition that makes people feel valued
  • Culture that grows stronger when people feel included
  • Small actions that make a big difference

Zuni will start appearing in Niuz content, emails, and materials over the coming weeks. Think of them as a friendly guide — someone who helps remind your team that they’re part of something that matters.

What’s Coming Next

In early 2026, Zuni will take on an even bigger role as we introduce new engagement features designed to celebrate participation and strengthen connection.

These features will focus on teamwork, recognition, and positive reinforcement. Zuni will help bring them to life.

A New Chapter for Niuz

Zuni isn’t just a mascot. They’re a symbol of what we believe senior care teams deserve: clear communication, meaningful recognition, and a workplace culture where everyone feels part of the hive.

We’re excited for you to meet Zuni and see what’s ahead.

Thanks for being part of the Niuz community.
